" The Quays is a great place to live until the summer time when my neighbours and I are subjected to a great deal of anti-social behaviour perpetrated by gangs of menacing, feral youngsters of school age who invade our pleasant living and working environment.

These Salford kids will be such a shock to the hundreds of BBC staff moving to Media City from London. The thought of a new Hope High Academy on my doorstep fills me with horror. The Council are acting extremely irresponsibly by building this school on the Quays.

Good luck BBC - are you bringing Crimewatch with you?"

Also home to the Salford Watersports Centre and The Agecroft Rowing Club. Great effort is made at events held there to keep them free of anti-social behaviour.

This is a great asset to the area and to the people who use it, including Schools. Agecroft having a long association with Manchester and Salford, Lancashire.

Detroit Bridge from Huron Basin with Erie Basin beyond. On the left bank from the top is an apartment block being built - City Lofts. Next completed are NV Buildings 1 2 and 3. Then the building you can see are offices called Victoria Building. After that is another apartment block being built Millennium Tower. BUPA at the back (with other offices).

The left of side of this bridge is very popular for climbing as high as possible and dropping into the water. The only condition is that you must scream, shout and swear all at the same time. You must also get at least 15 - 20 others with you. Take Ring Life Buoys out of cases for targets to jump at. If you think you will enjoy being on a balcony at NV Buildings on a Summer's day then think again.

In the Summer of 2006, Huron Basin and Erie Basin have had one nuisance abated, noise whistle from the railings of The Lowry Outlet Mall Car Park.

Just in case in case you think you can escape this anti-social behaviour in these two basins. There is a mobile division that is able to remove pontoons from the Water Sports Centre side. Perhaps being able to get some wood from a nearby building site to build a raft another time. This will ensure that all noise, shouting, screaming and swearing is equally divided - you wouldn't want to lose out.
